How we earn money

InternetGermany.de is a comparison and information site. It is not an internet provider and it does not sell a connection.

Some providers may pay a commission if you continue to their site through an affiliate link. That commission is paid by the provider. It does not change the published prices, contract length or advertised speed, and it does not change the price sort.

Affiliate links are stored separately from the price feed. If a plan has no tracking URL, the button opens the provider’s official page.

congstar Home and Homespot buttons use Awin tracking URLs for the matching tariff. Phone, prepaid and mobile-plan rows from that feed are not used. Other providers still open their official pages until a tracking URL is on file.

PŸUR internet in Germany

If you are deciding whether PŸUR suits your new or current home, the key issue is what the provider can supply at that exact address. When comparing PŸUR internet Germany offers, expect address-dependent cable, fibre or DSL, advertised introductory prices and a 24-month term. We reviewed PŸUR’s published residential plans and found four unlimited speed tiers. Check the available technology, later monthly price, router cost and installation details before ordering.

Choosing PŸUR for your address

PŸUR is a regional provider, so its relevance depends on your building rather than Germany-wide availability. The connection technology and even the contracting company can vary by address.

Run the address check using the complete installation address, including the building number. Use the result to compare the available speed with how your household streams, works and uses connected devices. Do not select a tariff based only on a nearby property, because neighbouring buildings can have different infrastructure.

All four published plans have unlimited data and no included German landline. PŸUR may offer telephone or TV services separately, but confirm their price and terms for your address.

PŸUR connection types and plans

The plan names describe download speed rather than a guaranteed connection technology. Upload speeds are not stated, so ask PŸUR for the complete speed profile associated with your address.

Entry and mid-range plans

  • PŸUR Internet 50: 50 Mbit/s download, unlimited data and an advertised introductory monthly price of €19.
  • PŸUR Internet 250: 250 Mbit/s download, unlimited data and an advertised introductory monthly price of €23.

Internet 50 may suit lighter everyday use, while Internet 250 gives a household more room for simultaneous streaming, video calls and downloads. Actual suitability still depends on the upload rate and technology offered.

Higher-speed plans

  • PŸUR Internet 500: 500 Mbit/s download, unlimited data and an advertised introductory monthly price of €25.
  • PŸUR Internet 1000: 1000 Mbit/s download, unlimited data and an advertised introductory monthly price of €34.

The higher tiers may be useful for busy households or frequent large downloads. Do not assume that every speed is available through every PŸUR technology at your address.

What our review found about prices and setup

The advertised introductory price rises with speed, from €19 per month for Internet 50 to €34 for Internet 1000. Internet 250 is advertised at €23, while Internet 500 is €25. Each plan also has a €19.99 activation fee.

The published offers do not state the later monthly charge or when it begins. Before committing, request the full payment schedule so you can calculate the cost across the 24-month minimum term rather than comparing only the introductory rate.

A router is not listed as included in the base price. Confirm whether you need to rent or buy one, which models are compatible and whether delivery creates an additional charge.

Contracts and flexibility

Each published PŸUR plan has a 24-month minimum term. That structure is better suited to an address where you expect to remain than to temporary accommodation or an uncertain moving schedule.

Ask what happens after the minimum term, which cancellation notice applies and how PŸUR handles a move to an address it cannot serve. If a long commitment does not fit your situation, read our guide to internet without a contract in Germany before comparing alternatives.

Address check, router and installation

The address result should identify the orderable speed, connection technology and responsible contracting company. Save those details and make sure they also appear in the contract documents before you accept the order.

An existing wall socket does not by itself confirm that service can be activated without technical work. Depending on the connection and building, PŸUR may need further information or an installation appointment. If you rent, check whether access to shared utility areas or permission from the landlord or building manager could be required.

Because a router is not included in the listed base price, confirm the device cost, delivery arrangements, compatibility and return conditions. Also ask when billing starts and whether the €19.99 activation fee is the only setup charge.

How the PŸUR technologies differ

PŸUR’s technology mix includes cable, fibre and DSL, but the plan names do not assign a particular technology to each speed. Your address result therefore matters as much as the advertised tariff.

Cable, fibre and DSL

Cable internet in Germany uses cable-network infrastructure, and performance can be influenced by local network use. Fibre internet in Germany uses an optical connection, although the exact line arrangement into the building should be confirmed. DSL internet in Germany runs over telephone-line infrastructure, with attainable performance affected by the line.

Do not assume that a high-speed PŸUR plan is automatically a fibre product. Ask for the named technology, expected download and upload ranges, and the connection point inside the property. This is particularly important if reliable uploads matter for remote work, cloud storage or sending large files.

What to confirm before you order

Check the contract documents rather than relying only on the headline monthly price. Before ordering PŸUR home internet, confirm:

  • the exact technology and speed available at your address;
  • the upload rate and expected performance range;
  • how long the introductory price applies and the later monthly charge;
  • the router price, model and return conditions;
  • any installation work or additional setup costs;
  • the cancellation, renewal and moving terms; and
  • the separate costs and conditions for optional telephone or TV services.

If you are arranging service for a move, follow our guide to getting internet in Germany. If PŸUR does not fit your address or contract needs, use our German home internet comparison to consider other providers.

PŸUR: short answers

Confirm the live offer at your address.

Is PŸUR available throughout Germany?

PŸUR is a regional provider, so availability is not established by city or postcode alone. Enter the complete installation address and check which company, connection type and speed PŸUR offers there. A nearby building may receive a different result. For regional internet in Germany, the full address check should be treated as the deciding step, especially when you are moving into a new property.

Does “PYUR internet Germany” refer to PŸUR?

Yes. Searches for “PYUR internet Germany” generally refer to PŸUR without the umlaut. Its published residential range includes Internet 50 at €19, Internet 250 at €23, Internet 500 at €25 and Internet 1000 at €34 per month as introductory prices. Each plan has unlimited data, a 24-month term and address-dependent technology.

What is included with PŸUR home internet?

The four published PŸUR home internet plans include unlimited data, but they do not include a German landline. A router is not listed as part of the base price. Telephone and TV services may be offered separately, so check their costs and contract conditions. You should also confirm the upload speed, later monthly charge and whether installation creates any additional cost.

Does PŸUR use cable, fibre or DSL?

PŸUR can use cable, fibre or DSL, depending on the installation address. The published plan names identify download speed but do not assign a connection technology to each plan. Check the address result and contract for the precise technology, upload rate and expected speed range. Do not assume that Internet 500 or Internet 1000 is automatically delivered over fibre.

Can I get a flexible PŸUR internet contract?

The published PŸUR Internet 50, 250, 500 and 1000 plans each have a 24-month minimum term. Confirm the cancellation notice, renewal conditions and moving rules before ordering, particularly if your accommodation is temporary. You should also ask what happens if PŸUR cannot provide service at your next address, as the technology and contracting company depend on location.
